Techno Egyptian Waterworks

I imagined some kind of techo Egyptian society that harnesses water from the land and uses it to power hydro electric dams and a water refinery/ reservoir. A large pyramid houses thousands of people in a self sustaining arcology. This image set depicts the megastructure while occupied in its heyday.
