Artillery Demolition Strike

The Home Guard have finally mustered a small but effective strikeforce to destroy one of Zubkov Division's rocket artillery batteries. Sergeant Renton, the Highland Commando initiates the strike with his Particle Accelerator Rifle - intentionally drawing attention to himself. The Missile Troops and Artillery are caught unawares, but manage to fire off a few illumination flares into the night sky. The remaining Home Guard troopers open fire with rifles and SLASH Launchers. The electronic countermeasures of the Anti-Drone rifles buy precious seconds by slowing the response time of enemy drones and cyborgs. SLASH missiles are able to eliminate these armoured foes.

M: Ahem, now information from the field is scarce at best, but we have some fuzzy images which made it through - *bzzzt*

PM: Let's see it then.

M: Home Territory forces successfully engaged then eliminated hostile artillery, along with multiple cybernetic troopers and drones. Our casualties were minimal, they've since moved onto the next target, Prime Minister.

PM: Some good news at last! When they make it back I'll pin medals on those lads myself.
